Episode 389: Economic Failure – Argentina and Japan(5-24-2013)…
Show Summary:
As the currency wars continue to unwind between nation states, the world economy slowly grinds to a standstill. Japan, with its recent embarkment in Abenomics has seen significant gains in the Nikkei stock exchange. However, at the risk of increasing sovereign bond yields that could make interest rates unsustainable for Japan. Throughout the last 20 years, this game economic Russian roulette has been played by the BOJ and the government of Japan. Soon it will be game over.
The same can be said with Argentina, as the communist led government under President Kirchner slowly destroys an economy that once flourished. Now the economy of Argentina is slowly succumbing to another nightmare of debt and destruction, as the economy slowly grinds to a halt due to high inflation.

Episode 340: The Economic Month In Review(4-7-2013)…
Show Summary:
As the economic data continues to deteriorate in America and Europe, the world needs to awaken to the idea of a sever economic contraction that is only months away. Furthermore, I think it is about time that MSM(Main Stream Media) starts to report the truth and hold our policy makers accountable for the lies that they have been spreading. The lies of course being that everything is swell and the economies of the world are doing fantastic.
The reality of situation is that nothing further could be from the truth. Macro economic data from America and Europe confirm the decline of the two largest economies in the world. As this decline continues to accelerate, it will only be a mater of time before reality sets in for equity markets.
And that my friends is the time when we need to hold onto our hats(or helmets if you prefer). When the bottom finally falls out on this credit driven stock market rally, rest assured the repercussions will be sever. More than likely resulting in a tremendous drop in the markets and billions of dollars in wealth disappearing in a matter of days.

Episode 333: Weekly Economic And Crime Reports(3-31-2013)…
Show Summary:
Well, here we go. The American economy is currently contracting in the first quarter of 2013. We saw anemic growth in the last quarter of 2012, with the 3rd and final revision of fourth quarter GDP showing only .37 growth. The brainiac economists were hoping and calling for .5 growth. And that is really friggin awesome, NOT!
For today’s show, I will dive into the macro economic data for that last week. Additionally, I will discuss the divergence in the stock market and the real economy. The stock market is due for a correction; that correction will probably be severe.
For closing the show out, I will discuss vigilante justice in Mexico, as people are tired of dealing with the crime coming from the drug war. Eventually, when you have chaos and corruption, people will take their safety into their own hands. Frontier justice anybody?

Prepping-Bugging Out
-
The move is complete, the storage unit is empty and hopefully some stability will come in the next 3-4 weeks for the podcast. And that is close to the timeline that I am looking at for going back to 5 shows a week.
-
During the move, I saw a an old bookstore that stated they are buying used textbooks – dropped by yesterday and unloaded one of my textbooks for $10 dollars. How much potential money do you have setting around?
-
Have you considered moving and going to another state, country? Does the standard of living suck where you live? How about picking up an extra job or other ways to bring in extra income? These are relevant questions that we all need to ask ourselves, as the world’s growth engine succumbs to peak oil and the fallacy of central government planning

Curtsey of The Economic Collapse, 50 Signs That The U.S. Health Care System Is A Gigantic Money Making Scam That Is About To Collapse, by Michael Snyder
-
Part of the Mr. Snyder’s post, examined a comment made by Paul Krugman – here is the excerpt
Eventually we do have a problem. That the population is getting older, health care costs are rising…there is this question of how we’re going to pay for the programs. The year 2025, the year 2030, something is going to have to give…. …. We’re going to need more revenue…Surely it will require some sort of middle class taxes as well.. We won’t be able to pay for the kind of government the society will want without some increase in taxes… on the middle class, maybe a value added tax…And we’re also going to have to make decisions about health care, doc pay for health care that has no demonstrated medical benefits . So the snarky version…which I shouldn’t even say because it will get me in trouble is death panels and sales taxes is how we do this.

Episode 307: Hard Assets – Precious Metals(2-22-2013)…
Show Summary:
Well I wanted to give everybody a heads up and let them know that this a prerecorded podcast. The recording of this podcast happened on 2-20-2013. The reason that I feel that this important is because some of the topics covered on today’s show are time sensitive and might not be relevant by Friday(but I got a feeling that there will probably not be any significant news between Wednesday and Friday)
Now, all that being said, precious metals today got friggin hammered. This is all very interesting, as I feel that precious metals are currently signaling the underlying weakness of the economy. Buying opportunities abound for physical precious metals. But could prices fall further? We will just have to pay attention and see.
Show Notes/Topics And Links:
-
Silver and Gold were hammered today, but this trend has been developing for several weeks now(especially gold)
-
Buying opportunities for silver
-

-

-
Don’t forget to save, save and save. Cash is always key and having some cash on hand when the economy is tanking is the smart move. Not only for buying opportunities, but in case employment is lost as well. If equities/stocks take a significant nose dive over the coming months, expect employers to slash jobs
-
6-8 months of “Oh crap, this is going to suck!” money sitting on the side lines is not a bad idea at all
-
Was hoping to attend a local coin show, but due to work, I will probably have to miss – sucks! However, if I make it, I will have an update on next weeks show
