Episode 347: The Monthly Crime Report(4-14-2013)…
Show Summary:
Today I will discuss the continued decline of structure and stability in the cities of Detroit, MI, Chicago, IL and Oakland, CA(Kalifornia). These cities represent the bloated bureaucracies of old and how these mega municipalities are currently incapable of dealing with the crime within these cities. Unfortunately, the combination of ineptitude within the government’s of these cities, combined with the inability of the citizens to form an effective voice that could form grass-roots community based movements to deal with this devolution is why these cities are places to be avoided. Or if on vacation/business, be very careful and only stay in well maintained areas(sometimes this is not even enough as we will discuss today).

Episode 333: Weekly Economic And Crime Reports(3-31-2013)…
Show Summary:
Well, here we go. The American economy is currently contracting in the first quarter of 2013. We saw anemic growth in the last quarter of 2012, with the 3rd and final revision of fourth quarter GDP showing only .37 growth. The brainiac economists were hoping and calling for .5 growth. And that is really friggin awesome, NOT!
For today’s show, I will dive into the macro economic data for that last week. Additionally, I will discuss the divergence in the stock market and the real economy. The stock market is due for a correction; that correction will probably be severe.
For closing the show out, I will discuss vigilante justice in Mexico, as people are tired of dealing with the crime coming from the drug war. Eventually, when you have chaos and corruption, people will take their safety into their own hands. Frontier justice anybody?

Episode 252: Weekly Crime Report(11/10/2012)…
Show Summary:
It has been a while since the last crime report. To be honest, I think the last weekly crime report podcast was recorded while I was living in North Carolina. And I thought that I would never bring this podcast segment back.
Why? Well, I personally find the subject matter a little depressing. Sometimes the criminals are not captured, or allowed to cut plea bargains after spending a little time in the slam. And that is by far the worst part. Harden criminals with street knowledge back in play with no reason to be discouraged from participating in crime again. Sucks!
But after thinking about this reality, maybe the prevention of actual crime is the answer. If the criminal system is deteriorating, then why not at least focus more on prevention and situational awareness. Thinking on one’s feet, will at least allow provide for some measure of protection.
Today I will focus on Sandy’s aftermath, home invasions, and police surveillance cameras. And some commentary on where I think this country is heading in the future. Let’s get this show started.

-

-
But – I feel that this country will slowly turn into a criminal hell over the next couple of years
-
So, why not talk about some it and see what can be done to look out for the coming onslaught
Direction Of The Country In Regards To Crime
-
I personally feel that we will see crime increase over the next couple of years
-
Police departments will continue to see cutbacks and people will increasingly become more desperate as the economic situation in America and the world worsens
Frakenstorm Thoughts
-
Looting and stealing of gas
-
But con jobs where the real story
-
After these storms or disasters, everybody needs to be aware of this potential
-
At the very least, ask for IDs if someone comes onto your property and ask for entrance
-
If you are suspicious, call the utility or energy contractor
Home Invasion

-
Lesson learned – the residence was scouted out in advance, vicious attack – need someway to keep an eye of elderly residences – security systems?
Police Surveillance
-
I am not a fan of this type of surveillance
-
Why? It usually does nothing in the actual prevention of crime, we lose our privacy as a consequence
-
Not very effective in London or Chicago
