Episode 382: The Week In Review From A Libertarian’s Perspective(5-18-2013)…
Show Summary:
No notes for today’s show, cause I really did not feel like categorizing everything I said on today’s podcast. So I’m just going to include the gist of today’s podcast in the summary. And the main reason for this is because this show, in its entirety, is a rant against the totalitarian government that has simply became too large and uncontrollable in modern America.
I personally feel that we, the average citizens of the US still have a say in what is happening in our country. In the podcast, I refer to the citizens as the adults and the government as a child that has simply gotten away with too much. Unfortunately, the parents have been horrible adults. But like most adults, we can regain control of our behaviorally challenged child by simply being firm in our conviction and saying, “Enough is enough.”
This will not be easy, as the voting system that we believe in as a representation of true democratic freedom is a farce. The needed change can only take place in grassroots movements, where community and trust is built. Acting together, there is unity and corporation towards a common a goal. The rescue of our once great country from the clutches of quasi tyrants and thugs. The saving of our nation is a worthwhile endeavor, as other people from across the world still look at America as a bastion of freedom and true hope.
When we look to our politicians for answers to these problems, we see cowards and liars. Leadership is needed, not cowardly politicians who point fingers at each other when there is problems on the horizon. A true leader takes responsibility for problems and rises to the occasion to fix the wrongs. My friends, we are the leaders and it is not too late to make a difference.

Episode 374: The Week In Review From A Libertarian’s Perspective(5-11-2013)…
Show Summary:
On today’s show, I will discuss why the Federal Reserve sucks and how this American central bank has enabled the debt nightmare that this country is currently living through. Also, I will discuss why the current stock market rally is a farce and why a severe correction is due in the future.
Other topics for discussion today include the decrease in gun crime throughout America, as firearms sales have increased dramatically over the last fifth-teen years. However, most Americans think that gun crimes have risen during this time period. The main stream media(MSM) has sold this line of crap to gullible American sheeple. Go figure?
I finish the podcast off by discussing why we should stay out of Syria, the possibility of losing control of the internet due to a government shut down/take over. Also, why we should not be sacrificing our young boys and girls who serve in the military, by pissing away their precious life blood in far away lands that most Americans have never even heard of.

I recently read an article by writer Matt Taibbi, a Rolling Stone contributor. The name of the article is “Everything Is Rigged: The Biggest Price-Fixing Scandal Ever.” I had to read this piece twice. Twice to grasp the enormity of what Taibbi was describing and twice to wrap my cro magnon noodle around the financial terminology that was being used.
But before I finished the initial read of Taibbil’s piece, something became painfully aware to me. Today’s modern world can now be controlled by one person. Or possibly a very select few individuals, very similar to a politburo.
In times of old, rulers tried to conqueror the world through force of arms. By marching an army into the targeted land and forcing the population to succumb, or die. Unfortunately for said invaders, historically the defenders would rather die than be subjugated to a foreign power. Or at the very least, make life very difficult for the unwanted foreign squatters.
But now the entire world is held hostage by a few banks. Banks that are led by people. And if you go up high enough in the chain of command, you would probably encounter the select few that are pulling the strings.
However, as the title of the post states, there could simply be one person in charge. One person who has positioned themselves through posturing and political guile, to become the de facto ruler of the world. One person, who could wield financial Armageddon against the population of the world.
The rigging of the financial system described in this article is worrisome indeed. At this moment, hundreds of trillions of dollars are controlled by a cartel of bankers(or banksters if you prefer). According to Taibbil, the same banks that were responsible for the Libor rigging are apparently colluding with each other to control interest rate swaps as well.
Essentially the manipulation of Libor, was an attempt to control global interest rates. By colluding to fix interest rates and then controlling interest rate swaps, all parties involved that rely on credit for sustainability are being hosed twice.
As Taibbil puts it,
Because Libor already affects the prices of interest-rate swaps, making this a manipulation-on-manipulation situation. If the allegations prove to be right, that will mean that swap customers have been paying for two different layers of price-fixing corruption. If you can imagine paying 20 bucks for a crappy PB&J because some evil cabal of agribusiness companies colluded to fix the prices of both peanuts and peanut butter, you come close to grasping the lunacy of financial markets where both interest rates and interest-rate swaps are being manipulated at the same time, often by the same banks.
By the end of the article the reader understands that the population of the world is simply at the mercy of a few recklessly untouchable banks. But why are these banks untouchable? Mostly because of the lobbying power that they wield in the halls of Washington, D.C..
That and the fact these banks control the credit markets, but also take part in determining the prices of currencies and commodities. More importantly though, most of these to big to fail banks are responsible for hundreds of trillions of dollars in over-the-counter derivatives. The pure magnitude of debt that these institutions are responsible for is barely imaginable.
In fact, the numbers are so large that the US Justice system will not pursue serious criminal charges against these corrupt banks. Straight from the mouth of our brave Attorney General, Eric Holder.
Article curtsey of the NY Times, author Andrew Ross Sorkin
I am concerned that the size of some of these institutions becomes so large that it does become difficult for us to prosecute them when we are hit with indications that if we do prosecute — if we do bring a criminal charge — it will have a negative impact on the national economy, perhaps even the world economy,” Mr. Holder told the Senate Judiciary Committee. “I think that is a function of the fact that some of these institutions have become too large.”
So that leads to my conclusion that I drew earlier in this post and the reason for the title. The banking/financial system has become so massively bloated that the people sitting behind the plush $80,000 desk are in fact, untouchable. These elite few can now conquer the entire world without even having to field an army to take land by force.
These are very interesting times that we are living in. Hold onto your hats folks. Not to mention the gold, silver, and bullets. This one could be a bumpy ride.

Show Summary:
The small state of Cyprus is the proverbial cannery in the coal mine. At this point in the development of human societies, we once again stand on the precipices of a potential world-wide war. With the crisis in Europe slowly deteriorating, it will be only a mater of time before the citizens of the many countries that comprise the EU(European Union) turn on their repressive governments. Unfortunately, as history tells us, these uprisings will probably be led by extremists. Very similar to the Nazis, Communist and Fascists groups of the past. We are already seeing the reincarnation of such groups gaining popularity, particularity in places like Greece with the Golden Dawn Neo-Nazi movement and the socialist/communist Hollande government in France.
Cyprus is only the beginning, as that country acted as a testing ground to see how a citizenry of a country will act when their money is essential stolen from them. Stolen by repressive bankster led technocrat government(s) that simply do not care about the people. Unlike Iceland, the citizens of Cyprus bowed to the demands of the bankster elite. But how long can this complacency last? What happens when the people have had enough and start turning to fringe groups for answers? The answer is quite simple my friends. In a word – chaos. And that chaos will once again bring us face to face with the unfortunate prospects of another massive war in Europe.
